D-Day & September 1944

The Plan called for 3 Airborne Divisions two American The 101st Screaming Eagles and 82nd All American then The British 1st Airborne Division. The 101st were to land at Eindhoven then the 82nd at Nijmegen and finally the British at Arnhem.

What your about to read is the story of the Airborne Soldier from Sicily to the Rhine Crossing.

And on the American Airborne Division from St Mere Eglise to Eindhoven and Nijmegen .

My interest is mainly World War 2 Airborne Forces I have travelled to Normandy last year and I'm going to Arnhem this year for the 60th Anniversary
